Barbarian Head Slicer

Yes, it’s really called a Barbarian Head Slicer. This is the old school knife and slicing combo that every papaya salad making Lao momma owned in your childhood. The dual purpose blade is used to chop and shred the papaya into strips, and the slicer option is used to shave the strips. Made in and imported from Thailand, this Barbarian Head Slicer does the job, albeit requiring some effort and dexterity on your part but also allowing for more control and finesse. (8 ½” in length, with a 4” stainless steel blade.)
