A member of the cucumber family and also known as Chinese Okra, these require warm weather to grow. As a climbing plant, it’s best grown on a trellis or fence. Did you know that when brought to maturity and dried, the dried luffa becomes the loofah sponge? Luffa are eaten when they are young and edible. When fully mature is when luffa become fibrous and are then dried to become a loofah. We hope you’ll grow them for both purposes! (Botanical name: Luffa Acutangula.)  *Note: We are unable to ship seed packets internationally.
